Our Island Scrub is a citrus blend with hints of sage and other greens and also contains sea salt and ground oatmeal as exfoliants. Citrus fruits contain many compounds that can help keep your heart healthy. Their soluble fiber and flavonoids may help raise healthy HDL cholesterol and lower harmful LDL cholesterol and triglycerides. The fruits may lower high blood pressure, another risk factor for heart disease. They contain vitamins C and E as well as antioxidants and zinc, which are ideal for acne-prone or oily skin types. Oatmeal contains avenanthramides, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory compounds that soothe itchy, dry and irritated skin. Oatmeal is also great for acne-prone skin because it may absorb oil from the skin's surface. ** Please note that due to the handmade nature of our soaps, color shades and swirl styles may slightly vary. About Our Soaps:

Once you have tried our handcrafted soap, you may never again use a detergent bar from the grocery store ever again! Our handcrafted soap contains well-chosen oils to yield a hard bar that lasts a while and produces good suds. We use organic plant oils and YES, these soaps are completely vegan. Handcrafted soap naturally contains high amounts of glycerin (soybean oil) which helps hold moisture to the skin and fatty acids which help prevent moisture loss from the skin. We also choose oils with additional nutrients such as shea butter which is rich in vitamins A and E. In fact, our soaps are gentle enough to be used on the face. Most contain herbs and flowers from our local farm partner. Our bars measure 3" x 3" x 1" and weigh approximately 4 ounces. All bars are cut by hand and sizes can vary slightly from bar to bar. To help your soap last longer, store in a dry place or in a soap dish that drains when not in use.
